Premises

The fully fenced and secured outdoor area provides a safe environment for outdoor play and discovery for the children.

Three separate play areas have been developed with the children's age in mind.  A toddler, preschool and a school-age play area, fenced in and secure for your children's safety.  These areas are monitored and videotaped and recorded as well.  All total the facility has 28 security measures in place for the safety of all children.

Buzz doors for admittance, also secures the indoor environment, much larger than it appears from the outside, with children's pick up by picture ID until known.  Only those listed on the Emergency Card, will be allowed to pick up children. (Phone, fax or email authorizations will not be allowed for pickups of those not on the pick up list.)

Further the facility of 11 classrooms is monitored and video-taped and recorded daily by 2-3 cameras per classroom.  Each classroom is based on age and development.  Young Infants, Mobile Infants, Toddlers, Transitional Toddlers (Potty Training), Preschool 3's, Preschool 4's and 5's and School-age.  Each classroom is fully equipped with developmentally appropriate supplies, activities and furniture. Leaning centers are created for challenging the children based on age and development as well.  Curriculum is also age appropriate and extended based on children's mental growth.

Philosophy

Children learn best by doing.  Extensive effort is made for all children to have healthy, developmental experiences every day.  Our program lays the foundation for future learning of the children in a comfortable, no enforcement environment.  Our Transitional and Preschool Programs curriculum incorporates art, music, dramatic play, with emphasis on practical life experiences, i.e. language, sensorial, mathematics, science, cultural activities.  During each day, particular interest is made to the teachable moments that may not necessary be part of the day's curriculum but something that the children are interested in.

Young children have capabilities that many adults are not aware of and we encourage activities for the development of thinking skills, memory retention and creativity.

These skills are the source of all physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.  Learning these skills promote further learning of even more skills.  When our children learn or master a skill, emphasis is placed on the accomplishment.  By the learning skills children gain more confidence to pursue other skills and are better able to pursue their interests to create that total person.
